Welcome

The Cranberry Hill Inn is located in Southwest Harbor, Maine, 10 miles from Bar Harbor, on Mount Desert Island. Visitors can enjoy the town's art galleries, shops, restaurants, library and Wendell Gilley Museum. We are a non-smoking inn for the comfort of our guests.

The Cranberry Hill Inn offers guests a variety of common rooms including a living room with hundreds of books and a cozy fire.

Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room and on the sun porch. You can enjoy local favorites and unique specialties to help you start the day.

A late afternoon tea is hosted in the dining room and on the many porches that overlook the harbor. Before heading off for a wonderful dinner in town, guests can take time to watch the boats return from a day of lobstering and sailing.

The Cranberry Hill Inn is located just a short walk from the center of Southwest Harbor. Guests can enjoy a stroll into town or down to the harbor.

Your innkeepers are Patti and Jerry Selig. Patti is a counselor and retired professor of psychology. During the winter she and husband Jerry live in Bishopville, Maryland.
